Associate – Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking

Alantra is seeking to recruit talented professionals at Associate level to join its Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking team in Athens. The successful candidates will support the origination and execution of transactions across debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, working closely with senior bankers and gaining exposure to high-profile international deals in the shipping and offshore sectors.

Requirements

• Contribute to the execution of capital raising and advisory mandates in the maritime and offshore industries.
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to support valuation, structuring, and transaction analysis.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, and other transaction materials.
• Conduct industry, company, and transaction research in shipping, oil & gas, transportation, and related sectors.
• Support due diligence processes, liaising with internal and external advisors.
• Assist with client meetings, investor presentations, and internal reporting.
• Support day-to-day deal execution workstreams, interacting with clients, lenders, and investors.
• Lead sections of due diligence and coordinate with legal, technical, and commercial advisors.
• Review and refine presentations and materials prepared by Analysts.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development.
• Participate actively in business development and deal origination activities.
