As a Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the financial aspects of construction projects, monitoring costs, and ensuring value for money. Key responsibilities include cost management, bid preparation, risk assessment, and project administration. You'll also act as a strategic procurement driver, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role focuses on managing projects from inception to completion.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management or Real Estate
- Master’s degree a plus
- 7-10 years hand-on experience in quantity surveying or construction estimating
- 2+ years of relevant management experience
- Excellent budgeting and reporting skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Projects, and AutoCAD
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills
- Industry knowledge and understanding
- Team player and autonomous worker
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
