We are seeking a Barrister & Solicitor to join our Constitutional and Aboriginal Law Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constitutional or aboriginal law, including litigation and advisory work. The role involves providing strategic legal advice and representing clients before courts and tribunals.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active membership or eligibility for full membership with the Law Society of Alberta
- 4-11 years of related experience for Civil Crown Counsel 2, more than 11 years for Civil Crown Counsel 3
- Exceptional legal, problem solving and communication skills
- Analytical, research and effective writing skills
- Oral and written advocacy experience
- Business and political acumen
- Administrative law or regulatory law experience
- Public law or corporate counsel experience
- Leadership experience in a team environment
