Job Description
This Project Engineer role is responsible for coordinating engineering and field activities for new construction and renovations projects, including a focus on customer satisfaction and positive financial results. The role requires leadership support for projects, coordination with subcontractors and customer communication, and maintenance of specifications and quality standards. Requires travel within the Gambrills area.
Requirements
- Equivalent experience of 4 years or more.
- Degree in engineering, computer technology, or similar.
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC Controls, Electrical Systems, and Mechanical Systems.
- Experience writing building automation systems programs.
- Commitment to open-door communication with field employees.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
- Experience supporting construction and field employee groups.
- Prior experience supporting construction and field employee groups.
- Knowledge of multiple disciplines and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences
