Job Description
Investment Accounting Tax Manager role involves monitoring tax data quality, participating in cross-functional meetings, testing system upgrades, analyzing tax basis accounting, and identifying process improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting or large financial services environments
- Strong technical knowledge of tax codes, regulations, and GAAP accounting under ASC 740
- Understanding of tax treatments for a wide range of investment types
- Comfortable working in data-intensive environments
- Experience with large, multidisciplinary projects
- Proficient in Excel with strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize tasks
