Job Description
AlgaeCal is seeking a Finance Leader to streamline and standardize finance operations. The role involves building scalable systems, strengthening controls, and delivering insights to guide the next phase of growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and leads finance operations driven by data and automation. This is a hands-on position that requires adaptability, strategic thinking, and a positive team-player mentality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A (or a CPA/CFA)
- 5+ years of experience in Finance within the D2C/eCommerce space
- Experience with Month-End Close and year-end accounting
- Understanding of E-commerce compliance and cross-border tax regulations
