Job Description
The Senior Accountant will participate in driving several routine and ad hoc functions in FR&A, including month-end close activities, preparing journal entries, and reviewing account reconciliations. The role requires 4-7 years of progressive financial reporting and accounting experience in the financial services industry or with a major public accounting firm.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of progressive financial reporting and accounting experience in the financial services industry or with a major public accounting firm
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and IFRS
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Intense attention to detail
- Fondness towards fixing broken processes and being unafraid to challenge the norm
- High problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to connect the dots
- Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and IFRS
