AI & Machine Learning Consultant

AlixPartners is a global consulting firm that helps businesses address complex challenges. The AI & Machine Learning Consultant role is a full-time position located in Buenos Aires, working on model development, data collection, and generative AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative field
• More than 1 year of related experience
• Proficient in Python for machine learning tasks
• Machine Learning: Proficient in machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn and XGBoost
• Data Manipulation and Analysis: Proficient in using Pandas and NumPy
• Statistical Analysis: Skilled in using SciPy and Statsmodels
• Data Visualization: Competent in creating insightful visualizations with Matplotlib, Seaborn, and tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Natural Language Processing: Familiar with text analysis using NLTK
• SQL: Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and management
• Databricks: Basic experience with Databricks for managing large-scale data processing
• Apache Spark: Fundamental knowledge of PySpark for big data processing
• Generative AI: Awareness of the capabilities and applications of generative AI technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to synthesize the requests received from team members at client sites
• Capability to be a creative, innovative problem solver —but using simple ideas
• Motivated to discover and learn new analytical techniques and software tools to improve the quality of our work
• Authorized to work in applicable country and travel freely internationally without restrictions or visa sponsorship
• Desire to actively engage in geographically dispersed teams
• Ability and willingness to work long hours and travel if necessary, to meet client demands
• Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment
