Job Description
Allata, a global consulting and technology services firm, is seeking a Senior System & Network Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure. This role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting network issues, ensuring security compliance, and providing end-user support. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of networking, system administration, and IT support, with experience in managing servers, workstations, and operating systems, as well as supporting LAN, WAN, VPNs, and Wi-Fi configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Good know-how of Azure/AWS cloud resources
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Shows expertise in automating the process as much as possible
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
