Engineer I - Power Generation

We are looking for an Engineer I - Power Generation to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Alliant Energy's power generation facilities. The role offers hands-on experience across key functions such as project engineering, performance and reliability, and asset management.

Requirements

• Learns basic internal and external customer needs and expectations
• Uses standard practices and procedures to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems
• Applies governmental and organizational engineering standards
• Develops functional relationships with union employees, contractors, internal and external customers, and across departments and teams
• Documents and tracks activities, drawings, and outcomes for future reference
