As a Tax Controversy Services (TCS) Associate Attorney, you will represent small and mid-size companies defending their rights against government challenges. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage litigation skills in a client-centric environment, often requiring engagement with C-level executives and other senior-level professionals.
Requirements
- JD or equivalent, and active license to practice law in any state
- Preferred 2 years of experience as an attorney with the ability to maintain own docket
- Litigation experience is preferred including experience in depositions and trial preparation/participation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly professional, competitive, and collaborative
- Strong aptitude, highly motivated, and career minded
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
- Available to travel 15-25% within the United States
- Candidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TX
