Job Description
The Scrap Saw Operator is responsible for operating the scrap saw efficiently, discarding material into scrap bins, and assisting with production tasks as instructed. The role involves maintaining a safe working environment and complying with company policies. They may also assist with forklift operation.
Requirements
- Verify material has a scrap label
- Operate the saw in an effective and cost efficient manner
- Report equipment malfunctions
- Co-ordinate material flow with the shift Supervisor
- Comply with quality policies
