Project Manager – Alpha Vertical: lead vertical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, owning performance across schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client experience. Hands-on leadership role that requires strong coordination between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and Alpha’s field crews.
Requirements
- Lead assigned vertical construction projects through all phases: pre-construction, execution, and closeout
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Alpha’s standards of excellence
- Develop, manage, and forecast project budgets and schedules
- Proactively manage costs, resources, and change to protect margins and momentum
- Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders with urgency and accuracy
- Lead progress meetings and maintain transparent communication across all stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality, safety, and contract compliance
- Partner with Superintendents to remove obstacles and keep work moving
- Identify risks early and implement practical solutions
- Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and accountability
- Mentor and support Project Engineers and field staff
