Job Description
AlphaGrep Securities Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to ensure the stability and integrity of their global trading collocation network. This role involves overseeing installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network hardware, security, and connectivity, managing multiple projects and collaborating with trading systems developers to deliver optimal trading platform performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Computer engineering, Computer Science or related Information Technology discipline
- CCNA Routing & Switching certified. CCNP Routing & Switching preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of network support & engineering experience
- Extensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP/MP-BGP, NAT, IPSEC and GRE, PIM, RP, MSDP, IGMP, STP, PC/vPC/MLAG, CDP/LLDP, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, VLAN/VxLAN)
- Hands-on experience with Arista and Cisco Routers, Switches, L1 Switches and Firewalls
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems (Ubuntu/CentOS)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
