Head of Engineering, India

AlphaSense is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the growth, leadership, and scaling of its global Application Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of engineering leadership experience and a proven track record of scaling engineering organizations in India.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Sr. Director or VP) managing large, distributed, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Proven success in scaling engineering organizations in India, ideally within global SaaS, enterprise software, or product-driven technology companies
• Deep experience in delivering high-scale, high-availability, enterprise-grade platforms and products
• Demonstrated ability to lead technology organizations through phases of hyper-growth, organizational scaling, and technology transformation
• Strong technical acumen
• Proven track record of building, mentoring, and nurturing diverse, high-performing, and engaged engineering teams
• Outstanding communicator and executive presence
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred
• Based in India, with experience operating in global, distributed, and multicultural organizations
