Job Description
Alstom is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to join their team in Copenhagen, DK. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil engineering and experience with safety-critical systems. They will be responsible for coordinating safety activities, developing safety cases, and collaborating with teams across the company.
Requirements
- Education as a civil engineer or similar
- Experience with or understanding of standards for the development of safety-critical systems
- Knowledge of electrical systems and knowledge of software safety
- Knowledge of CENELEC/IEC standards for functional safety and/or European standards and norms for rail systems
- Excellent analytical thinking
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Team player with good leadership skills and a proactive attitude
