Job Description
Alstom is seeking a Function Safety Engineer (FDMS) to join a benevolent and responsible company focused on mobility solutions in Canada and the United States. This role involves planning and executing activities related to reliability, availability, and maintainability of systems, supporting ALM programs like vehicle revision and maintenance. The role requires versatility, autonomy, and a willingness to contribute to problem-solving in a fluid environment.
Requirements
- Prepare FDMS program plans
- Control progress of partner units and suppliers
- Support system and control-design engineers
- Analyze results of design and test groups
- Participate in design and validation reviews
- Implement reliability, availability and maintainability tests
- Define and control system reliability and maintainability in commercial service
- Follow up on repair reports
- Coordinate FRB meetings and identify root causes
