Job Description
Alstom is seeking a full-time Software Designer to join their growing team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The role involves collaborative development of innovative and reliable software solutions for complex embedded systems, working closely with various teams to meet QCD and maintain quality and delivery. It's a pivotal role impacting sustainability and scalability of software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
- Experience or understanding of software development, verification, and validation of complex embedded systems.
- Knowledge of UML-based software design and software architecture concepts.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and quality processes.
- Hands-on experience with tools like MATLAB, Artisan, Control Build, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
- Knowledge of standards such as CENELEC SIL4, DO178A/B, or similar.
