Lead Data Scientist

Alt/Finance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing innovative models and algorithms that harness the power of data to inform strategic initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, analytics, or related roles, preferably in a financial context.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL for data manipulation.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and presentation of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
