Production Packaging Associate

Altium Packaging is seeking a Production Packaging Associate to join their team. This entry-level position is responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products, loading and moving material, and operating packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate safe work practices, operator-driven quality, and a one-team cross-functional attitude.

Requirements

• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule
• Works well and effectively with others
• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing appropriate PPE, following Stop Think Act, and by immediately escalating abnormalities when found
• Demonstrates Operator Driven Quality by performing hourly inspections, by adhering to GMP policy, and by immediately escalating issues when any defect is found
• Can safely and efficiently operate on a designated line
• Can correctly run drop tests for bottles on designated line
• Monitor operation of conveyor systems and clear bottle jams from lines
• Discard defective bottles and report poor quality issues to management
• Ensure proper packing and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements
• Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized
