Job Description
Altom Transport is seeking a Local Driver - CDL A - Tanker Driver for a family-owned company specializing in the safe transportation of bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products. The role involves operating a variety of vehicles, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Altom offers a focus on safety, support, and a positive work-life balance.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Tanker Endorsement (N)
- Hazmat Endorsement (H)
- TWIC Card
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience
- At least 23 years of age
- Clean MVR and strong safety record
- Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations if needed
