Project Engineer

Ameresco, Inc. is a leading energy solutions provider looking for a Project Engineer to join their Federal Engineering Team. The role involves executing multimillion-dollar large-scale energy efficiency, HVAC, and distributed energy projects.

Requirements

• Coordinate visits to customer project sites to investigate and gather energy performance data
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions
• Direct engagement with the client during project status meetings
• Support course of construction activities from a project engineering perspective
• Evaluate construction subcontractor bids and equipment vendor proposals
• Prepare written content for technical proposals and reports
• Develop approaches for project commissioning
• Ensure that project scopes achieve guaranteed energy and performance metrics
• Provide engineering support throughout all project phases
• Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers
