Job Description
America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. The Database Applications Developer - II will be responsible for planning, building, implementing, and administering Python scripts to test and deploy Nosql clusters, ensuring optimal database performance, and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in NoSql databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis)
- At least 2 years of DBA experience in an enterprise environment
- Strong experience in monitoring and tuning NoSql databases for optimum performance
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with the Linux operating system
- A minimum of 2 years of scripting (Python, Shell) experience
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and support multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Commercial facing database/application support experience
- RDBMS (MySQL, MariaDB, MemSQL, PostgreSQL) knowledge (2 years)
