Software Engineer - System Analysis and Program - II/C/C++ Developer / Analyst

America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our team specializes in design, deployment, optimization, and support of IoT networks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of C/C++ development experience
• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ on Linux and Unix platform
• Proficient in Unix and Linux O/S
• Experience in network and multi-threaded programming is required. Must have profound knowledge in TCP/IP protocol and SSH
• Knowledge with Datakit and X.25 is a plus
• Proficient in shell scripts
• Knowledge with Expect script is a plus
• Knowledge with RADIUS is a plus
• Proficient in database technologies: Oracle and/or Informix. Good knowledge of SQL
• Must be a good team player. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum, preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering
