Director, Regulatory Science and Policy

The Director, Regulatory Science and Policy will lead AACR's regulatory science and policy programs, working closely with the Vice President, Science Policy and Government Affairs, to implement exciting programs and activities that advance scientific opportunities, overcome policy barriers, and educate policymakers. The Director will monitor and provide background analysis on regulatory science and policy-related issues, develop and implement AACR-specific initiatives, and represent the AACR in key contacts with federal officials and other relevant bodies.

Requirements

• PhD, M.D., or other doctoral degree in a science and/or regulatory science-related field
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience in a science policy and/or regulatory science and policy-related environment
• Expertise and a working knowledge of cancer research and biomedical related science, as well as an expert understanding of various areas of science policy and regulatory science and policy
