Job Description
The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) is seeking a Senior Manager of Communications to lead communications efforts for their grid campaign. This role involves developing and executing strategic communication campaigns on issues related to expanding and upgrading transmission networks, building support for policies and stakeholders. ACORE values a clean energy future and enjoys work where employees can feel valued.
Requirements
- Seven+ years of communications experience
- Demonstrated ability to execute projects under tight deadlines
- Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience working with coalitions or advocacy initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of energy, climate, or infrastructure policy issues
