Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at American Phoenix Pre-weighed Chemical Packaging division. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual to grow into an Industrial Maintenance career.
Requirements
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and repairs of machinery
- Support facility and building maintenance activities
- Help maintain spare parts and maintenance supply inventory
- Communicate equipment issues with plant personnel and maintenance leadership
- Assist with installation of new machinery and equipment
- Operate basic metalworking tools and equipment for fabrication and repair
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and Hazard Communication (HazCom) requirements
- Assist with safety equipment inspections and documentation
- Work with contractors under supervision as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
