Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs. This role involves conducting ship checks on submarines and creating 2D/3D drawings for mechanical designs, utilizing GD&T and AutoCAD tools. The position requires a Secret Clearance and ability to work independently in confined spaces.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical School CAD Certificate or A.S. / B.S. Degree in Drafting / CAD Design or Engineering discipline
- Experience in CAD/DT design
- Solid modeling experience
- 3D drawing experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Adobe PDF tools
- Communication with customers
