Construction Engineering Intern position at American Water, providing experience in water utilities and sustainability. Collaborate with engineers on project delivery and planning tasks.
Requirements
- Gain firsthand experience in how water utilities support communities and ensure sustainability.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop water supply plans, asset management plans, and support various engineering and construction projects.
- Provide engineering support to both engineers and operational staff.
- Work with Senior Engineers in the Project Delivery Team and assist with the delivery of water / wastewater capital investment projects.
- Work with Senior Engineers in the Planning Team and assist them with completing engineering tasks such as building/calibration hydraulic modeling for a water distribution system, demand projections, asset condition and performance assessments, and preparing planning reports and recommendations
