Job Description
As a Refrigeration Technician I, you will perform refrigeration operations and preventative maintenance and repair throughout the warehouse, provide maintenance support, and troubleshoot equipment. Experience in a Cold Storage environment, using testing equipment, and diagnosing down to the component level on refrigeration equipment is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years combined Refrigeration and/or Maintenance experience
- OR Specific HVAC/R certification and/or technical Degree
- Basic computer skills required (email, internet searches, basic data entry, etc.)
- Experience working in a Cold Storage environment
- Experience using testing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose down to the component level on refrigeration equipment
- Experience using Oracle Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Technical certification or degree
- Physical Requirements: Ability to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of –20 degrees Fahrenheit, work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and use hand and power tools.
