Assembler

To build mechanical and/or electrical assemblies to technical drawings, inspect and test finished products, and maintain equipment and tooling used in assembly process.

Requirements

• Mechanical assembly work to drawing and/or CMMs
• Electro/mechanical work, fan/motors and or heaters to drawing and/or CMMs
• Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment
• Assemble and test components and systems according to specifications
• Conducting tests and inspections to identify and troubleshoot any issues
• Adhere to all company manufacturing procedures
• Complete all relevant documentation
• Provide information or help required to customers, suppliers and visitors
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and 6S activities
• Use PPE as required
• Take on ad hoc duties including training colleagues and cross training within the department
