Manufacturing Engineer

AMETEK Aerospace & Defense is seeking a strong Manufacturing Engineer to work in Wilmington, MA. The role involves investigating and resolving production issues, optimizing manufacturing processes, designing fixtures, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Flexibility and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced environment are essential. This position may require travel and may be part-time.

Requirements

• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Represent operations department on development projects.
• Optimize manufacturing processes.
• Design and coordinate fixture & tooling.
• Interface with quality and supplier contacts.
• Lead PFMEA efforts.
• Support Material Review Board activities.
• Layout work areas to optimize product flow.
• Work collaboratively with shop technicians.
• Support lean six sigma initiatives.
