Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a driven Manufacturing Engineer to analyze, develop, and define manufacturing processes, and serve as a mentor to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Utilize Lean manufacturing methods to reduce costs and improve quality
• Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, Engineering and Materials Planning
• Identify new or additional equipment needs
• Evaluate new or used equipment
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering Manager in preparing investment and expense budgets
• Participate in the design of new products
• Coordinate new product introductions
• Direct and execute Operational Excellence projects
• Keep abreast of trends and improvements in engineering and manufacturing
• Advise other areas of the company concerning expertise
• Work closely with domestic and international departments
• Supervise maintenance, test technicians, and direct labor
