The Procurement Lead CTS Business Unit is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery across the unit’s operations.
Requirements
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business unit goals.
- Drive cost savings initiatives without compromising quality and delivery.
- Identify and onboard strategic suppliers and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Ensure procurement practices align with environmental and social governance (ESG) principles.
- Manage long-term contracts and ensure periodic reviews.
- Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and logistics.
- Implement best practices for procurement efficiency and transparency.
- Develop and monitor procurement budgets for the business unit.
- Analyse spending patterns and implement cost control measures.
- Drive initiatives to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Identify procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure continuity plans are in place for critical suppliers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training programs.
