Quality Engineer

Paragon Medical, a business of AMETEK, is seeking a Quality Engineer to meet customer requirements for surgical instrument and implant manufacturing. This role involves developing and implementing systems to meet ISO standards and FDA quality regulations, including inspection/validation procedures, new equipment specification, and process improvement initiatives. The position requires close collaboration with Cell Leaders and involves supporting audits and managing quality systems.

Requirements

• Assist in the development and implementation of systems and processes for continuous improvement.
• Ensure cell processes are correctly based-lined & controlled.
• Complete the implementation and performance of gage R&R, process capability studies, design of experiments, and summaries.
• Provide SPC & ongoing monitoring of SPC.
• Investigate deviations, OOS, complaints, returns, recalls, and field alerts.
• Supervise and train personnel in inspection of raw materials, in-process and finished goods.
• Verify that all production procedures are followed and production records are maintained.
