Senior Electrical Design Engineer responsible for developing and modifying electronic technologies, with a focus on electromechanical sensing devices. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering (EE) required
- 5-7 years as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Aerospace experience a plus
- PCB layout oversight, verification testing, and documentation
- Design for sensors and avionics for qualification to RTCA-DO-160
- Digital and Analog circuit design including micro-controllers, analog sensors, and power supplies
- Knowledge of and experience with DO-254 and DO-160 preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with DO-178 a plus
- Prior experience with FAA or other regulated environments is preferred
- Expertise in designing circuits, electronics, and sensors strongly preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills including hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other electronics lab equipment
- Demonstrated capability executing circuit card designs within a challenging schedule
- Project management experience is a plus
- Detailed component level analog/digital circuit design
- Proficiency with an electronics design package such as Mentor Graphics, Altium Designer, or Cadence ORCAD
- Some knowledge of C programming
