Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Design Engineer responsible for developing and modifying electronic technologies, with a focus on electromechanical sensing devices. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering (EE) required
• 5-7 years as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Aerospace experience a plus
• PCB layout oversight, verification testing, and documentation
• Design for sensors and avionics for qualification to RTCA-DO-160
• Digital and Analog circuit design including micro-controllers, analog sensors, and power supplies
• Knowledge of and experience with DO-254 and DO-160 preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with DO-178 a plus
• Prior experience with FAA or other regulated environments is preferred
• Expertise in designing circuits, electronics, and sensors strongly preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting skills including hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other electronics lab equipment
• Demonstrated capability executing circuit card designs within a challenging schedule
• Project management experience is a plus
• Detailed component level analog/digital circuit design
• Proficiency with an electronics design package such as Mentor Graphics, Altium Designer, or Cadence ORCAD
• Some knowledge of C programming
