Part Time ASES Tutor 25-26 SY

AMPS is seeking a Part Time ASES Tutor to provide academic assistance to students in a afterschool program. This role involves tutoring in specific areas, assisting with homework assignments, and ensuring student safety. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Tutor students during Homework Help during after school program.
• Teach an Enrichment class of your choice to students during after school program.
• Assist with integrating core-curriculum concepts.
• Manage groups of students to make efficient use of time.
• Consult with Site Director or ASES Coordinator on academic assistance strategies.
• Ensure student safety and school accountability.
• Keep accurate records and collect data on students.
• Attend in-service trainings and other appropriate trainings.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• High level of communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong initiative and ability to solve problems.
