Technical Writer

Ametris is seeking a Technical Writer to join our Product organization and create high-quality documentation that supports our products and users. The role involves translating technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-centered content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Product Writer, or similar role in a software or technology company
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineers in agile or product-led environments
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and consistency
• Comfort learning new technologies, systems, and domains quickly
• Experience documenting SaaS platforms, APIs, data products, or developer tools
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Git-based workflows, CMS platforms, or help center software
• Understanding of UX writing principles and user-centered documentation design
• Experience supporting both external customer documentation and internal technical documentation
