Principal Civil Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Principal Engineer to join our Consulting Highways team. This is a hybrid position and with shared office space in Belfast, we welcome applications from Senior Engineers across Northern Ireland. Our 130 strong Belfast Design Hub delivers a range of local, national and international projects for clients including Department for Infrastructure Roads, Translink, National Highways, Transport Scotland and Network Rail.

Requirements

• High level experience and expertise within the relevant technical field
• Able to produce and lead the production of technically sound engineering solutions
• Experience of managing project related tasks associated with the management of health, safety and welfare
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of design and specification process
• Highly experienced with relevant software and similar analytical tools
• Demonstrates an excellent understanding of CDM and risk assessment
• Supervisory and people manager skills
• Incorporated or Chartered status or an equivalent professional licence
