Standard Subsea is hiring a Robotics Engineer to develop and maintain robotics software and integrate sensors and actuators on physical platforms. The role requires a degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field and 1-2 years of industry or research experience.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain robotics software in C++ and Python using ROS/ROS2
• Integrate and operate point cloud–producing sensors on physical systems
• Implement and debug robotics communication interfaces
• Build and maintain control logic
• Work hands-on with motors, actuators, and low-level hardware interfaces
• Support system integration, bench testing, and field testing
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and test engineers
