Job Description
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications by reviewing products and material, measuring objects, running quality tests, and identifying defects.
Requirements
- Examine raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria.
- Perform visual inspections, measurements and various tests to identify defects or deviations from standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conforming products.
- Report defects to relevant personnel.
- Communicate with production, engineering and management to provide feedback on quality issues and collaborate on solutions.
- Train production workers on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Conduct final inspection to ensure products meet all quality standards.
- Cross train in production to fill in gaps
