Vice President, Contracting – West

Vice President, Contracting – West. Manage a payer portfolio for contracting and strategy for AMSURG’s ambulatory surgery centers and Anesthesia groups throughout the Western U.S. Reporting to the Sr. VP, Health Plan Relations.

Requirements

• 11+ years’ experience as described to include supervisory experience, significant managed care contracting experience, and demonstrated ability in the areas of financial analysis, payment methodologies, contract language and negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner.
• Able to work well with others with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.
• Able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.
