Job Description
Morton Thomas, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a Mid-Level Transportation Engineer to lead the design and plan development for transportation projects. The role will be based in Charleston, SC and could potentially involve involvement in projects managed at various AMT office locations. AMT is a rapidly growing Engineering News Record Top 500 Design Firm, known for innovation and employee ownership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of Roadway Design experience with emphasis on corridor modeling
- Experience with SCDOT plan production and calculation of quantities
- Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
- Broad plan experience with MOT, Drainage, PMP, and Signing is a plus
- Ability to mentor and supervise others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical proficiency in MicroStation / GEOPAK and Open Roads Designer
