The Loss Control Specialist II will work as a business consultant, sharing their knowledge and experience to affect positive change in many types of businesses. The consultant will work with our policyholders to improve working conditions, employee safety and health conditions, and make recommendations that protect the life and property of our policyholders and their customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of insurance industry experience relating to the workers compensation, property, general liability, product liability and auto lines of business and the associated exposures and controls required
- Professional designation such as CIH, CSP, Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or other applicable designation preferred
- Extremely well-organized self-starter with strong technical and relationship building skills
- Work experience in loss control is a must, especially in the areas of workers compensation, property, liability and fleet
- Excellent organization, planning, project management and time management skills
- Ability to influence and motivate others, both internal and external
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 & OSHA General outreach program authorization preferred
