Senior Underwriter

The Senior Underwriter administers the underwriting agencies within their assigned territory, writing a profitable book of business through solid risk analysis, pricing, and servicing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving in new business opportunities in their respective territory.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with and expert technical knowledge of workers compensation, commercial property, casualty, automobile, and umbrella insurance coverage and risk selection, methods and pricing.
• 5+ years of commercial lines property and casualty experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel including overnight stays within the assigned territory as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data and make an informed, calculated decision.
