Job Description
Amyx is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to formulate and define specifications for operating software and modify/maintain existing applications. The role involves developing high-level system design diagrams and guiding tasks in a project, emphasizing compliance with open systems and DoD architectures. It is a full-time, remote position.
Requirements
- Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities.
- Designs architectures including the software, hardware, and communications to support overall requirements and future needs.
- Provides top-level technical expertise including in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.
- Interacts with project management and development teams.
- Evaluates new and existing software products.
- Requires ability to communicate accurately.
