Job Description
Andromeda Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team and help build a world-first empathetic companion robot, Abi. This role involves developing core software for real-time control, high-level decision-making, and communication, working across robotics, AI, and hardware teams to integrate code into fully functional robots and deploy to hardware and iterate in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience (beyond internships), preferably in robotics or embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Understanding of real-time systems, networking, or simulation tools (Gazebo, Webots).
