Explosives System Safety Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to design, test, and manage munitions systems. This role will contribute to the development of new ordnance technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering strong relationships with review entities. The team focuses on the Energetics Team, responsible for the design and testing of munitions systems.

Requirements

• BS or higher degree in mechanical, systems, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
• 5+ work experience in design, safety, certification, and systems engineering of ordnance systems.
• Warhead/fuze review board experience.
• Munitions system certification or qualification experience.
• Deep technical familiarity with MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-1316, and MIL-STD-1901.
