Information Systems Security Officer

They are seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to contribute to the protection of classified and air-gapped environments. The role involves documenting security controls, performing security functions, applying cybersecurity standards, and ensuring compliance. This position requires expertise in NIST 800-53 controls and a commitment to continuous security improvements.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and implement secure systems and networks per NIST RMF, JSIG, and other industry standards.
• Participate in security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and audits.
• Maintain and update System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and other accreditation documentation.
• Manage the organization’s security posture, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
