Software Engineer, Data

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. The company is looking for a well-rounded Senior Analytics Engineer to support its Air Defense team. In this role, you will design and maintain data systems to ingest and transform structured, semistructured, and unstructured data, creating robust and efficient data models that deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in an analytics-focused or data-oriented role
• Exceptional general problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency designing scalable and adaptable logical and physical data models
• Strong skills in performing data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to drive consensus across internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable navigating a polyglot ecosystem
• Procedural fluency in writing, debugging, profiling, testing, and maintaining performant Python and SQL code
• Experience writing another language
• Proficiency in building end-to-end, scalable data solutions
• Experience writing pipelines with common orchestration tooling
• Experience with DevOps and software deployment
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code
• Experience writing and working with microservices architectures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Clearance or higher
